TOMRA Food has merged its Fresh and Processed divisions to provide its customers with integrated food sorting, grading and processing solutions.

As part of this new organisation, TOMRA Food has developed a regional business model consisting of three areas: Americas (AMS), Asia Pacific (APAC), and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to elevate their customer-centric approach. Led by Paul Slupecki, the TOMRA Food APAC team aims to bolster their local presence in New Zealand, Australia, India, Southeast Asia and Japan.

Paul Slupecki, Head of TOMRA Food APAC:

"Having a stronger local presence, TOMRA Food’s APAC regional model means we’ll be closer to our customers, which allows us to develop a deeper understanding of their individual needs and provide faster, more personalized services, and tailor-made solutions."

TOMRA Food APAC is set to strengthen its presence in Australia and New Zealand with a team of over 200 people in the main hubs of Auckland, Papamoa and Melbourne and remote teams based close to customers across both countries.

The TOMRA Food APAC team is positioned to understand better and deliver to their customers' local needs and dynamics, leading to improved customer satisfaction.

The TOMRA Food APAC team will focus on sales, service, customer delivery, and support functions for the APAC region, as well as maintain a dedicated Research and Development function to ensure ongoing local support for Australia- and New Zealand-based customers.
