With effect from 15 June 2023, the GRIMME Group from Damme (Germany) takes over the Polish agricultural machinery retailer Agrarada from Brzezimierz near Wroclaw. Founded in 1999 by Johan Kruijthoff, the company specialised in the trade and service of potato, vegetable and beet technology from the very beginning.

GRIMME was the first supplier and looks back on more than 20 years of successful partnership with Agrarada. Agrarada's own sales and service staff cover the entire territory of Poland and western Ukraine.

Sebastian Talg, Managing Director at GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik:

"Poland is one of the most important potato and vegetable growing regions in Europe, and this acquisition will enable us to further increase our presence in the market."
Michael Tönnies, Managing Director at the GRIMME Group.:

"The Polish and Ukrainian customers can continue to rely on the competent sales, the reliable service and the prompt spare parts supply. We will also make an offer of continued employment to all 20 employees."
Johan Kruijthoff founder and co-partner Arek Brzyski of Agrarada:

"We have always put a lot of heart and soul into the company and are glad that GRIMME is continuing and developing the company. Our workforce is familiar with GRIMME and knows that it will have a positive future."
GRIMME has been active in Poland for over 40 years and in 2010 founded its own sales and service company in Środa Wielkopolska, 30 km southwest of Poznan. Eight employees from GRIMME Polska are responsible for the local sales and service partners and form a powerful interface to the factory in Damme and to the local Premium Partners.

Agrarada was founded in 1999 by Johan Kruijthoff, a Dutchman who was already very intensively involved in potato cultivation in his homeland. One of the first employees, Arek Brzyski, became a copartner in the company in 2004.

Today, 20 employees work for the agricultural machinery retailer, which has also been marketing spare parts online since 2017. Agrarada has been selling agricultural machinery to Ukraine since 2000 and opened a branch there in Korchiv (Lviv Oblast) in 2019.
