Kiremko, the leading manufacturer of turnkey potato processing lines, and FAM Stumabo, worldwide known for their progressive industrial potato cutting solutions and innovative shapes produced through hydro cutting systems, have entered into a long-term global partnership.

In this partnership FAM (a Kiremko-partner for more than 20 years) will supply mechanical cutting systems and Stumabo will provide precision blades and knowledge to integrate the best blades in Kiremko hydro cutting systems. Stumabo will cover the complete and direct fulfillment of blades for the customers of Kiremko.

Long term strategy

Kiremko, with its outstanding potato processing and machine building knowledge, will exclusively use Stumabo knives in its innovative cutting line and hydro cutters. In the short term, this partnership will lead to efficient logistics and thus cost savings for the customer.

Within the production process, optimization will take place in the cutting line regarding the service life of the knife blocks, which will result in an improved cutting result and a noticeable reduction in residual product, and a reduction of downtime.

In the long term, these efficiency gains will lead to cost reductions for our customers. In addition, Kiremko and FAM Stumabo are continuously working on improvements to the cutting systems with the aim of producing a better product and promoting sustainability by reducing waste and use of raw materials, all to make our customers successful.

Successful collaboration

Wilfried Rombauts, Sales Director - Stumabo International:

"I am delighted by Kiremko’s choice to integrate our chip gun blades into their cutting heads. I am convinced that our customers stand to win a lot from this partnership. This conviction is reinforced by the already very successful collaboration of FAM with Kiremko, to which we at Stumabo hope to further contribute."
Benefits to the customer

Marcel van Huissteden, director of Kiremko:

"We are very excited to have entered the partnership with Stumabo, at the same time it feels very familiar because we have been working with FAM for years. We know what we can achieve together and we both market top-class quality. It's a good match. I can't wait for our customers to reap the benefits of this partnership."
