Lamb Weston announces new VP for Australia and New Zealand operations

Lamb Weston has named Simone Anderson as the new Vice President and General Manager, Lamb Weston Oceania (Australia and New Zealand), beginning January 4, 2021.

Anderson is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience within global companies, locally owned businesses, and private equity ventures in the food production industry across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, United Kingdom and Europe.

Her career began with Unigate Dairies in the UK and she has held leadership roles for Fortune 500 food companies such as Cadbury UK & Ireland, Kraft Foods Australia, Mondelez and SunRice.

In her most recent role at Patties Foods, Anderson was responsible for managing the end to end supply chain in Australia and New Zealand. She holds a diploma in Food Technology and Dairy Science from West of Scotland Agricultural College.
