Taurus is an early maincrop variety, suitable for crisping. In trials it demonstrated resistance to PCN Ro1, skin spot, black dot, dry rot (F. coeruleum), silver scurf and powdery scab. The variety has susceptibility to dry rot (F. sulphureum).
