Company Description

Kent Crisps are an award-winning range of hand-cooked crisps, created in 2011 by Anthony Curwen at Quex Estate in Kent, England. The chips were produced from estate grown potatoes and inspired by local flavours.

Kent Crisps were initially produced by the company Quex Foods Limited, incorporated on December 2013.  Quex Foods Limited was dissolved on July 14, 2015 according to Companies House records.

In 2017, as part of a management buy-out, Laura Bounds became the owner of Kent Crisps where she was working at the time. Since, she has received several regional and national awards, including taste, brand story, sustainability, and international trade awards.  Kent Crisps is one of the few British snack brands that remains independently owned and run.

For its flavours, Kent crisps partnered with some of the finest producers across the county, including Cheesemakers of Canterbury with their traditional Ashmore Farmhouse Cheese, Kent Chilli Farm who grow over 50 varieties of chilli as well as some of Kent's favourite drinks producers, Shepherd Neame and Biddenden Vineyards, to name just a few.

Kent Crisps are exported worldwide to countries including Hong Kong, the USA and Singapore, providing people from as far as Australia the opportunity to sample a little bit of Kent.
