Variety Description

Almonda is a medium early, firm cooking ware potato with an attractive yellow skin and flesh. Due to its excellent resistance against late blight Almonda is perfectly suited for organic production.

A good ability for washing and a nice grading guarantee a good post-packing appearance. Almonda has furthermore strengths against scab, silver scurf and bruising combined with resistances to PCN Ro 1, 4 and potato wart disease 1.
