McCain Foods is announcing leadership changes to its Canadian Retail Business. After a remarkable 37 years with McCain, Mike Barry, Vice President Retail Sales has decided to retire on December 31st, 2020.

Mike joined McCain in 1984, and worked in a variety of sales roles across the country before taking on his current role, leading the Canadian retail sales team in 2016.

With this retirement, McCain is pleased to announce Matt Kohler has joined McCain Foods in the newly created role of Managing Director, Canada Retail, responsible for both Marketing and Sales across the retail business.

Matt brings over 20 years of Marketing and General Management expertise to McCain, including experience in the areas of consumer goods, financial services, and technology, most recently as the VP of Marketing (Canada) at the Clorox Company.

Bryan McCourt, who has overseen the Canadian marketing team for 3 years, will move to the role of VP, Food Service Sales, National Accounts – Canada.

Danielle Barran will maintain her role as President of Canada and will expand this role to lead the North American potato business.
