Largest AVR storage loader ever leaves the factory

AVR's largest storage loader

May 27, 2014

Earlier this month, the first green CTHV 46100 left the factory at the Dutch branch of Belgian agricultural machine manufacturer AVR in Veendam.

This is a first for AVR because at 23m long and 1m wide, the CTHV 46100 is the largest storage loader in the AVR range.

In light of its full line strategy, AVR expanded its range with in-store equipment last year. This brings the range within the potato cycle full circle: from soil preparation and planters to potato-friendly harvesters and in-store equipment.

Fast and uniform

The biggest advantage of the CTHV 46100 storage loader is its 23m reach and its width of 1m, making it the ideal machine for users with large storage spaces, trucks or ships. Thanks to an automatic swivelling system it fills fast and uniformly. The CTHV 46100 is highly manoeuvrable thanks to the double wheel drive and the 360° castor wheels.

Long life

The conveyor belt is driven by two heavy drum motors. This guarantees long machine life and also prevents conveyor belt slipping. The use of high chevron profiles makes it possible to shift large volumes in a minimum of time.

Thanks to the V-shaped belt, the product doesn’t roll around or come into contact with the metal edge and this increases the volume of undamaged and sellable crops.
