PEI Burger Love
PEI Potatoes sponsors 'FryDays' during PEI Burger Love 2014!
Everyone knows that burgers and fries are best friends, making it an easy decision for the Prince Edward Island Potato Board to be a partner in the 2014 edition of PEI Burger Love (www.peiburgerlove.ca), a month-long celebration of PEI beef.
Over 50 Island restaurants have created unique and mouth-watering burgers using 100% Prince Edward Island beef, and PEI Potatoes are excited to continue as a partner in this promotion for the second year.
As a part of PEI Burger Love 2014, the favourite day of the week is definitely “FryDay.” On Fridays in April, we are encouraging anyone ordering a PEI Burger Love burger to order fries made from Prince Edward Island Potatoes.
Those that tweet or share a photo of their delicious burgers and fries will have a chance to win a limited edition (1 of 20) “FryDay” T-shirt. As well, one lucky “FryDay” participant each week will win a 50 lbs carton of Prince Edward Island Potatoes! No matter whether those fries are fresh cut or made by one of our local fresh fry processors, be sure to snap a photo and share it for a chance to win!

According to Greg Donald, General Manager of the PEI Potato Board, “the Board is excited to partner once again with PEI Burger Love, promoting fries made here on Prince Edward Island from the best potatoes in the world! Fries make a perfect pairing with burgers, so we think our involvement with PEI Burger Love made logical sense. As well, a number of PEI potato growers are also beef producers, so we are pleased to sponsor a promotion that highlights both commodities. Our growers are proud to produce high quality food, both for our fellow Islanders as well as for customers across the country and around the world.”
