Meyer Industries introduces Magna Weigh vibratory feeder at SNAXPO
March 05, 2014

Meyer Industries, Inc., a leader in designing, engineering and manufacturing food processing and bulk material handling equipment, displayed the new Magna Weigh vibratory feeder and sanitary belt conveyor at the Snack Food Associations’ annual conference, SNAXPO 2014.

SNAXPO is the world’s largest, most comprehensive trade show devoted exclusively to the international snack food industry.

“We have been active members of the Snack Food association for over 35 years,” stated Eugene Teeter, President, Meyer Industries. He continued, “This year we are pleased to display our all new Magna Weigh, which offers sanitary design in continuous weighing applications as well as our sanitary belt conveyors.”

The Magna Weigh Feeder is a continuous in-line weighing vibratory feeder designed to feed and/or monitor products by weight. It combines the simplicity and cleanliness of a vibratory feeder with the weighing capabilities of a weigh belt. Ideal for blending lines with single or multiple products, the Magna Weigh Feeder is superior to volumetric feeders in its ability to compensate automatically for the variations in the bulk densities of products.

By providing a full line of Sanitary Belt Conveyors (SBC), Meyer is able to meet most any food processing conveying requirement. Meyer Industries’ SBC’s combine time-tested performance, durability and sanitary construction in one reliable piece of equipment. Ideal for heavy wash down environments, these units are available in a wide range of sizes and configurations to accommodate the inspection, storing or transporting of products.

All of Meyer Industries’ products are available in custom and standard configurations. Equipment is engineered and customized to meet customer’s exact specifications and application needs.

The company machines, fabricates, assembles and tests the majority of products in their own facilities from individual components through complete systems. A full engineering staff with years of experience is capable of taking a project from initial concept to finished product. Technical data sheets are available for the Magna Weigh and SBC or for more information, visit online at www.meyer-industries.com.
