Mid Isle Farms is one of Prince Edward Island's largest fresh packing facilities, selling packed table potatoes branded FoodTrust

In the late 1970's a group of potato farmers on Prince Edward Island, Canada, identified a need for washed potatoes in the marketplace. The original 7 farm families agreed to work together, marking the start of Mid Isle Farms.

Over 35 years later, Mid Isle Farms is one of Prince Edward Island's largest fresh packing facilities and provides potatoes to the homes and restaurants of millions of Canadians and Americans under the FoodTrust brand.

Five of the original 7 family farms are now being operated by 6th and 7th generation farmers!

In addition to the FoodTrust brand, the company sells Rustic Comfort's Vales Sovereign potatoes and Yukon Russet's

Government Prince Edward Island sells FoodTrust

The owners of Prince Edward Island potato producer Mid Isle Farms and other local investors have bought the province's potato and blueberry marketing company FoodTrust.
