Mr. Dee’s Inc. is announcing a new line of microwaveable frozen potatoes that feature a revolutionary packaging technology that enables the potatoes to be steamed right in their bag. The line of potatoes will carry the brand name “Mr. Dee’s Steam ‘n Ready.”

The line will feature two bold flavors: “Garlic &Parmesan Reds,” which are roasted red potatoes with roasted garlic and Parmesan seasoning;and “Wood-fired Yukon Gold’s,” which are Yukon Gold potatoes with onion, garlic, peppers, and parsley. Both potatoes come in a 14 oz. size and contain 4-5 servings. The potatoes use “All Natural” ingredients and the packaging is BPA-free. The suggested retail price is USD 3.49 - USD 3.99.

Mr. Patrick Conway, President of Mr. Dee’s, remarked, “We are excited to deliver these potatoes for our retail grocery partners. We know that steamed side dishes have experienced double digit growth in four of the past five years, and since potatoes are America’s number one side dish by a wide margin we feel these items will help continue that momentum. Mr. Dee’s “Steam ‘n Ready” potatoes are expected to begin shipping in late March.
