Idaho Falls, Idaho-based Wada Farms Marketing Group LLC has taken on potato sales and marketing responsibilities for Worley &McCullough Inc., a grower-shipper in Colorado’s San Luis Valley. The partnership is beneficial for both entities, said Chris Wada, marketing director for Wada Farms Marketing Group.
Worley &McCullough will continue to operate its packing shed in Monte Vista under the current name, but will pack most potatoes under Wada’s labels, which include Wada Farms and Dole, as well as several private labels, Wada said.
